Tested: 2022 Genesis GV70 2.5T Makes a Strong Case.Tested: 2022 Genesis GV70 Makes a Bold Entrance. The turbo four was nearly as quick, recording a 5.6-second result in the same test. At our test track, the GV70 with the V-6 delivered an impressive 4.9-second zero-to-60-mph time. During our initial test drive, we noted a discernible athleticism, especially in the Sport Plus driving mode and the twin-turbo V-6 pulled strong. #Drive genius 4 review manualWhile a manual transmission is offered with the turbo four in the G70 sedan, the GV70 will stick with the eight-speed automatic as standard equipment all-wheel drive is standard. The four-cylinder serves as the entry-level engine and makes 300-hp while the V-6 makes 375-hp and will be exclusively offered on the Sport model. The GV70 will be available with either a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Both the turbo four and the twin-turbo V-6 engines deliver peppy performance, so choosing one will be a difficult task. Going with the Advance trim also includes niceties from the Select model as well, including 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and a 16-speaker Lexicon stereo system. Doing so adds leather upholstery, interior ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, and a host of driver-assistance features including a remote self-parking feature. The GV70 starts at an attractively low price, but we think upgrading to the Advance trim will be well worth the money.
